About this event
Patriot Cruise and Salute is a non-profit organization whose goal is to assist Veterans and First Responders who may need help with their homes, ensuring they have safe and comfortable living environments.
They also organize recreational boating events that support and honor the brave individuals of the US Armed Forces, Gold Star Families, Law Enforcement, and First Responders. Each year they provide an afternoon of boating on the Potomac Rivers for recuperating Veterans from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital and their families to provide a much-needed respite.
This year’s Cruise and Salute event will be held on Saturday, 16 September. They have invited ODCC to come and display our Corvettes for all the participants to see. We will meet at 0900 at (TBD) and caravan to the Prince William Marina.
After greeting all the honorees and showing our Corvettes, we will adjourn for lunch together at the Electric Palm Restaurant. It is right on the Marina grounds, so we don’t even have to drive anywhere for lunch!
