Corvettes are awesome - our members are better!

Come for the cars. Stay for the friendships.

Welcome to the Old Dominion Corvette Club! Founded in 2005, our vision is based upon the promotion of, interest in, and sharing of knowledge about "America's Sports Car". We sponsor or participate in a variety of informal and formal local, regional and national activities. Our activities are open to all family members and we encourage and welcome everyone’s participation. Family-friendly activities include our monthly club meeting, judging events, car shows, local cruises, multi-day trips and our own annual Cruise-In. Our fund-raising benefits multiple local charities and the National Corvette Museum. We are a diverse group of young, old(er), single and multi-car owners, gear heads and not. We are people who like to have a good time and enjoy each other's company. Whether it's hitting up a winery on a gorgeous day, going on an ice cream run, a drive to an interesting location or a multi-day trip, we are ready to go!

Our 33rd annual Cruise-In was a smashing success, with nearly 150 Corvettes on site, including the new 2023 Z06! On a recent Thursday afternoon, a small group of ODCC's Weekday Wanderers took a scenic drive to Dirt Farm Brewery for half-price pints during happy hour. Good beer, great friends and wonderful weather combined for a great afternoon. We even ran into another Corvette owner (not then a club member) there. We hope to see you at the next weekday cruise.

How do you join the Weekday Wanderers, you ask?  Easy. Just join in on one of the upcoming weekday lunch drives. We'll be doing them all season long.

On February 13th, 14 members of the "Weekday Wanderers" drove to Front Royal for lunch. Meeting in Gainesville, the group traveled Route 211 to 688, then up through Orlean and Hume to Rt 55, and then into Front Royal. 688 is a very enjoyable road in a Corvette. As one traveller said, "sort of a mini Tail of the Dragon. A Tail of the Lizard, maybe." 😉The drive is enjoyable at an easy cruise, or at a faster, more challenging pace. Just be sure to slow down when the speed limit drops to 25 mph. The local governments fund their budgets with out of area drivers, especially on the weekends.

Everyone enjoyed the drive up, and had very tasty barbeque at the PaveMint Taphouse. With 35 beers on tap, it's not hard to find something you'll like. Plenty of parking for a group of Corvettes, too. See a few photos at http://www.olddominioncorvetteclub.org/content.aspx?page_id=187&club_id=765025&module_id=558307

ODCC members recently purchased and delivered nearly $2,000 worth of Christmas presents and goodies for the children of families who need to take advantage of the services provided by the Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter (LAWS) Domestic Violence, and Sexual Assault charity. LAWS normally has between 25 and 30 children using their services at any given time, but there is also usually a spike in need around the Holidays. LAWS is one of the three main charities that ODCC supports, and this was an especially apropos way to demonstrate the Christmas spirit. We set up a donation page on the website, and everyone opened their hearts and wallets and donated $870 towards the purchase of gifts. Other members really got in the Christmas spirit and procured and donated car themed coloring books, crayons, and Corvette T-shirts in a variety of sizes, along with lots of other Christmas goodies.
