Weekday Wanderers - Lunch Run to Front Royal

A weekday lunch cruise, Friday March 29th, for all our members who are retired, or can get a Friday off from work. This is a weather permitting cruise, but by the end of March we'll hopefully be well into spring!

We will meet at the 7-Eleven in Gainesville, head out 211 through Warrenton, then north on a very fun, twisty back roads route. It'll be about a 2 1/2 hour trip some parts are quite twisty and technical. It also takes us up and over Thornton's Gap on route 211. This was a favorite motorcycle route, and your event coordinator hesitates to share it with the world. 😆 Since your route leader hasn't driven it in many years, we'll take it at a moderate pace the first time. The lunch spot will be Soul Mountain Restaurant and Bar.


If you're interested, please click the Register Now button. We should be at the 7-Eleven in Gainesville by 8:45 and be ready to leave there 15 minutes later, so we can beat the lunch rush. Or, if it's more convenient, feel free to meet us at the restaurant. This event listing will be updated once the restaurant is selected, and I'll reach out to everyone who has registered then.
