About this event
Police Appreciation Day
Old Dominion Corvette Club will be joining Northern Virginia Corvette Club to visit selected Fairfax County Police stations during shift change to display our support and appreciation for our local law enforcement officers. NVCC has been doing this for several years and it has been extremely well received by the police officers.
We will have the opportunity to have lunch with NVCC while observing COVID-19 protocols and then travel in a caravan to the selected station. If we choose not to go to lunch, we will meet NVCC at the designated police station.
This year the group will say hello and thanks to the Fairfax Police at the Franconia Police Station at 6121 Franconia Rd, Alexandria, VA 22310 . The plan is to arrive at 1:15PM to meet the evening shift and stay until 2:30PM or so to catch a few day shift returning to the station. The Officers have truly enjoyed these visits so we hope that you’ll be able to join this event. In the past NVCC has had up to 20 Corvettes for Police Appreciation Day, so we will have lots of company!
If you would like to attend, please register and indicate whether you would like to do lunch or go directly to the precinct. Depending on the group's choice, we will leave from the Chick-fil-A at the Dulles Expo Center at approximately 10:00AM to meet for lunch or approximately noon to go directly to the precinct.
We will post updates and more information for this event BELOW and via email to all registered ODCC members.
