Luray Caverns & Car Museum Cruise - Rescheduled


Take a scenic drive, enjoy the company of friends, tour the fabulous Luray Caverns and the Caverns classic car museum, and have a delicious BBQ lunch before returning home. More information about the Caverns and Museum here: Luray Caverns website



Admission is $28 per adult, which includes both the caverns and the museum. With a Giant Food bonus card, you can save 50% on the second of two tickets.

We'll meet in the Holiday Inn Parking lot in Chantilly at 4335 Chantilly Shopping Center Rd (across from McDonalds,near the chick-fil-a) at 7:45 and leave there by 8:00.

Holiday Inn ==>  

The drive to Luray will take about 90 minutes via I-66 and US 340 South. There is plenty of free, PAVED parking at the Caverns

Route to Luray ==> 

The caverns tour takes 90 minutes to 2 hours, and we'll plan to spend about an hour in the auto Museum, then head to lunch at Triple Crown BBQ in Luray or, in the event of rain, Gennaro's Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria

For the return, there are two choices. The quicker is to go back the way we came, another 90 minutes. The scenic route will be to take Skyline Drive north to Front Royal, then Rt 55 to Haymarket with a quick stop at the Apple House in Linden for a rest stop and to pick up some Apple Butter donuts, then I-66 home.
