Giving back to our Community

Old Dominion Corvette Club supports multiple local charities.  Our major fund raiser each year is our All Corvette Cruise-In, held at Bomnin Chevrolet in Manassas, Virginia each October. We have a Silent Auction, and a 50 / 50 raffle, with proceeds earmarked to support our designated charities. 

Our primary charities include the LAWS Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services in Leesburg, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children, and the National Corvette Museum.  We have provided additional support to LAWS for the last several years through our Corvettes for Kids event at Christmas time to ensure these children at least get some of the things on the Christmas wish lists. 

We support our Military through the Fort Belvoir USO, hosting and serving free meals for soldiers and their families and providing back-to-school supplies for Military children.  We have also supported the Vettes for Willing Warriors car show in support of the Willing Warriors Retreat in Haymarket, VA, through Club attendance every year of its existence.

                       

Additionally, we participate in other organizations’ charitable efforts by attending and supporting their fund-raising events.  These include events such as the Corvettes Care Car Show, helping the Multiple Sclerosis Society; the Truck and Toss event to benefit Grace Christian Academy in Falls Church, VA; the Cars for the Cure Drive to End Diabetes in Great Falls, VA; Corvettes at the Beach in Ocean City, MD, benefitting the Spina Bifida Association; Carz Cruisin to Cure Cancer; and others.
