Come out and rev your engines at the Annual Town of Elkton Car and Bike Cruise-In!
This is a fun event in the small town of Elkton. ODCC is the featured car club for this event again this year. People there are still talking about when we all drove down the main street to our dedicated parking area. We've been told town residents are already asking if the Corvettes will be back this year. Everyone who's been to this event in the last two years has really enjoyed it. Lots of interesting cars, mostly American muscle, but with a mixture of other vehicles too. This year the event is starting at 11:00 A.M., so it should be a bit cooler, and we'll be able to get back home earlier in the day.

This year, in addition to the car cruise-in, EPIC (Elkton Progressive Improvement Committee) will also be hosting a Trucks and Heroes event to honor our veterans, active military, and first responders. There will be participation from at least six fire departments, as well as PHI Air Medical's AirCare helicopter. More information can be found on EPIC's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ItsEPIC

Let's make sure we have a great turnout! We'll meet at the 7-Eleven on Webb Drive in Gainesville at 9:00 A.M., leave at 9:15 sharp, then head out 211 to Sperryville and stop at the Black Twig restaurant parking lot (12018 Lee Highway, Sperryville, VA 22740) to meet anyone coming from farther west. We'll head up and over Thornton's Gap for the rest of the cruise, leaving there about 10:00. If it's more convenient to meet us in Sperryville, please be at the Black Twig parking lot no later than 9:50 am.
From Sperryville we'll take Rt 211 to Rt. 340, then slide over onto River Road (Rt. 635) for a more scenic approach into Elkton.
There were some issues noted with last year's route, the speeds involved, and with some of the group getting separated. This year we will take a leisurely cruise to Elkton and make every effort to keep everyone together so we can all roll in at the same time.

There will be lots of food trucks, live music, raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and at least 10 door prizes per hour. Last year's event was great, and this year's looks to be even better. We'll have a designated parking area for our Corvettes again. Let's make a good showing for ODCC since Elkton is featuring us. We don't want to look bad.
Please register (once per car) so we can let Elkton know how many parking spaces we'll need, and so we know to expect you and don't leave without you!
